TL;DR

Business Development Representative (Logistics): Identifying and qualifying potential host locations for a parcel locker network through outbound cold calling and research with an accent on lead generation and pipeline management. Focus on identifying commercial spaces, qualifying prospects, and booking appointments for the Site Acquisition team.

Location: Hybrid (Milan, Italy). Must be eligible to work in the European Union.

What you will do

  • Research and identify potential host locations for parcel lockers, such as convenience stores, pharmacies, and petrol stations.
  • Perform outbound cold calling to introduce the locker opportunity and qualify suitability.
  • Verify critical information including physical space, opening hours, and decision-maker identity.
  • Coordinate and book qualified appointments for Site Acquisition Support Specialists and Managers.
  • Maintain accurate records of all interactions and outcomes within Salesforce CRM.
  • Provide weekly activity reports to the Head of Acquisition.

Requirements

  • Strong verbal communication skills with confidence on the phone.
  • High resilience and a positive attitude toward handling rejection during cold calls.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a motivation to hit weekly targets.
  • Fluent in Italian.
  • Eligible to work in the European Union.
  • Proficiency in basic IT tools (MS Office).

Nice to have

  • English language proficiency.
  • Experience working with Salesforce CRM.
