Salary: $400,000 - $500,000 AUD (OTE)

What you will do
- Own the full sales cycle from lead generation to ongoing utilization for commercial prospects.
- Identify new business opportunities and drive growth within various regions in Australia.
- Organize and manage Proof of Concept (POC) implementations of dbt Cloud Enterprise.
- Collaborate with product teams to build and maintain the dbt Cloud commercial roadmap.
- Lead and contribute to team projects that develop and optimize the sales process.
- Actively engage with and contribute to the dbt open source community.
Requirements
- 6+ years of closing experience in technology sales with a proven track record of exceeding annual targets.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into consultative sales strategies.
- Excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders from individual developers up to the CTO.
- Strong organizational skills for managing long and intricate sales cycles involving multiple client teams.
- Must be based in Australia.
- Experience with SQL or a strong willingness to learn it.
Nice to have
- Prior experience in analytics, ETL, BI, or open-source software.
- Direct knowledge of or prior experience with dbt.
