Forward Deployed Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Dublin, Ireland; hybrid work with at least three days per week in the office. The role also requires travel and on-site work with customers.

hirify.global develops Fin, an AI Customer Agent that automates customer support across service, sales, and ecommerce channels and integrates with the hirify.global help desk.

What you will do

• Drive adoption of Fin by helping prospects automate and scale customer support operations.
• Work closely with strategic customers to understand business challenges and technical requirements.
• Code alongside customer technical teams and deliver projects through completion.
• Design high-impact solutions in collaboration with R&D, Sales, Success, Product, and Go-to-Market teams.
• Provide actionable customer feedback that influences product direction and roadmap decisions.
• Document best practices and help scale the Forward Deployed Software Engineering function.

Requirements

• Strong engineering background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
• Experience building SaaS products with real-world usage.
• Strong coding skills and deep knowledge of at least one high-level programming language, such as JavaScript, Python, or Ruby.
• Interest in AI/ML and ability to understand novel problems, architectures, trade-offs, and limitations.
• Ability to prototype and ship software quickly while maintaining high quality and focus on business outcomes.
• Proficiency in using and writing REST APIs, strong communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience as a founder or early startup engineer.
