What you will do

• Provide field direction to ensure safety, quality, work progress, and overall project performance meet requirements.
• Manage multiple construction contracts and determine appropriate contract methodologies.
• Provide constructability input during the design phase and determine field resource needs.
• Supervise construction supervisors and oversee contractor management personnel for teams up to 400 people.
• Maintain relationships with plant personnel, contractors, vendors, and construction company leadership.
• Coordinate storm preparedness and restoration activities for assigned projects.

Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of related work experience (or 12 years in power plant operations/maintenance).
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience.
• Proven experience in solar power plant construction and supervision on solar sites.
• Strong knowledge of construction codes, standards, safety programs, and management techniques.
• Ability to travel frequently, including occasional air travel.
• Ability to work in outdoor conditions (hot, humid, wet/cold) and elevated noise areas.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Building Construction, or a related field.
• Managerial experience in heavy industrial construction or project management.
