TL;DR

Director, Deal Desk (SaaS): Building, scaling, and running the global Deal Desk function to align deal operations with go-to-market strategy with an accent on pricing governance, revenue quality, and deal velocity. Focus on optimizing the quote-to-cash process, managing ASC 606 compliance, and leading cross-functional alignment between Sales, Finance, and Legal.

Location: Must be based in Boston, MA or Houston, TX

What you will do

  • Lead and scale the global Deal Desk function, overseeing a team of professionals across multiple levels.
  • Partner with the CRO, CFO, and VP of Legal to align deal operations with overall go-to-market strategy.
  • Develop and manage pricing governance frameworks, including discount authority matrices and approval hierarchies.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for strategic, complex, and high-risk transactions.
  • Drive operational excellence across quote-to-cash, contract operations, and revenue lifecycle processes.
  • Create executive-level reporting and analytics regarding deal mix, discount trends, and revenue quality.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Deal Desk, Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or Commercial Finance.
  • 5+ years of people leadership experience, including managing other managers.
  • Demonstrated track record of scaling a Deal Desk function within a high-growth SaaS company.
  • Deep expertise in enterprise SaaS pricing models and ASC 606 revenue recognition principles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting preferred.
  • Location: Must be based in Boston, MA or Houston, TX

Nice to have

  • Experience leading teams through M&A integration or product portfolio expansion.
  • Hands-on expertise with Salesforce CRM and CPQ platforms (hirify.global CPQ, Salesforce CPQ, or Revenue Cloud).
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite.
  • Experience engaging with C-suite stakeholders and Board-level audiences.
