TL;DR

Clinical Supervisor (Counseling): Oversee clinical supervision of counselors in training and provide guidance to the counseling team with an accent on therapy delivery, hands-on training, and regulatory-compliant documentation. Salary: $66,000 + bonus structure

Behavioral Health Group (BHG) operates Joint Commission-accredited treatment centers and provides opioid addiction treatment services.

What you will do

  • Supervise and mentor counselors, including feedback, documentation, and weekly supervision sessions.
  • Conduct one-on-one and group therapy sessions and provide hands-on training via observation and case record review.
  • Develop, revise, and maintain patient treatment plans and comprehensive clinical records.
  • Document patient contacts, ensure case-management follow-ups, and support caseload management.
  • Lead and participate in treatment team meetings; provide in-service training and stay updated on addiction treatment trends.
  • Coordinate care with community providers, handle crisis interventions, and perform peer file reviews to assess service quality.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in a human services related field.
  • Comply with federal and state regulations for certification, licensure, and degree.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently under pressure, handle multiple tasks, and make effective decisions in stressful situations.
  • Knowledge of human behavior and rehabilitation of drug-dependent patients; familiarity with the substance abuse population and treatment planning.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency with office equipment.
