TL;DR

Location: Hybrid (must be based in London, 3 days a week in the Old Street office)

What you will do

  • Partner with business leaders to coach for impact, challenge assumptions, and influence deliberate people decisions.
  • Equip leaders to drive accountability and shape fair, consistent approaches to performance, reward, and recognition.
  • Provide expert guidance on complex people matters, including underperformance, disputes, and visa requirements across multiple markets.
  • Anticipate business shifts to shape proactive workforce strategy and planning.
  • Use people metrics and data insights to support planning, compensation, and engagement initiatives.
  • Iterate on People Systems and Processes to make them leaner, clearer, and more scalable.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in a strategic HR Manager or People Business Partner role within high-performance tech or high-growth startup environments.
  • Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR compliance.
  • Experience managing direct reports and supporting people leaders across various functions.
  • Proficiency in tracking and interpreting people metrics to inform business decisions.
  • Proven project management skills leading initiatives across the employee lifecycle, such as remuneration cycles and audits.
  • Ability to work from the London office 3 days per week.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with German or South African employment frameworks.
