TL;DR
Junior People Partner (HR/Fintech): Providing hands-on HR support to Senior People Partners for UK and US employee populations across all business lines with an accent on employee relations and compliance. What you will do
- Support Senior People Partners in delivering day-to-day employee advice across UK and US business areas.
- Lead on employee relations (ER) matters, ensuring compliance with employment law and internal policies.
- Provide administrative and coordination support for US-specific people processes and performance management.
- Contribute to People Team projects and change initiatives by leveraging AI tools to enhance efficiency.
- Manage people data reporting for headcount, attrition, and engagement to support decision-making.
- Partner with external legal counsel and employment advisors to manage risk and ensure jurisdictional compliance.
Requirements
- Experience in an HR role within a fast-paced, scaling, or high-growth environment.
- Proven experience managing complex and sensitive employee relations matters independently.
- Strong understanding of UK employment law and practical exposure to US employment practices.
- Ability to support employee populations across multiple jurisdictions, specifically the UK and US.
- An AI-first mindset with a drive to adopt tools that improve HR scalability and speed.
- Location: Must be based in London and able to work from the office at least 3 days a week.
Nice to have
- Experience using HRIS platforms, with HiBob experience being a bonus.
- Interest or exposure to financial services, fintech, or regulated environments.
- CIPD qualification or currently working towards one.
- Proven experience redesigning HR workflows and processes using AI tools.
