What you will do
- Plan and execute end-to-end UX research, including concept tests, prototype testing, and journey-level studies.
- Build a lightweight research operating model, including recruitment, screening, and repository management.
- Define evidence standards to ensure significant design decisions are informed by rigorous research.
- Evaluate post-release customer journeys to assess success and identify friction points.
- Partner with Marketing, Product, and Compliance teams to advise on research quality and study design.
- Implement and maintain the research toolset, actively applying AI to synthesis and analysis.
Requirements
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in UX, Product, or Design Research.
- Deep expertise in moderated usability testing, user interviews, and concept validation.
- Strong quantitative reasoning and survey design skills.
- Experience establishing research operations and standards from scratch.
- English: C1 level and above required.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a UK-based team.
Nice to have
- Experience in UK-regulated fintech or financial services.
- Experience integrating research tools with Figma and design workflows.
- Background in scaling research practices within high-growth startups or scale-ups.
