TL;DR

Senior Project Manager (Healthcare): Leading critical program initiatives for enterprise healthcare modernization for a federal client with an accent on cross-functional team management and government stakeholder engagement. Focus on developing integrated master schedules, mitigating program-level risks, and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.

Location: Remote (Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance)

What you will do

  • Lead overall project management across scope, schedule, budget, and quality for multiple concurrent projects.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with government stakeholders to ensure alignment of objectives.
  • Develop and maintain integrated master schedules, risk registers, and issue logs.
  • Track performance against milestones and deliverables to ensure contractual compliance.
  • Oversee resource allocation and coordinate with program leadership on staffing priorities.
  • Mentor junior project managers and drive adherence to project management best practices.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience managing large-scale IT programs, preferably in federal government or healthcare.
  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Strong proficiency in Agile, SAFe, and traditional waterfall methodologies.
  • Experience with MS Project, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting Department of Veterans Affairs programs.
  • PMP, PgMP, or SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) certification.
  • Familiarity with data integration, interoperability, or enterprise healthcare IT systems.
