Project Manager (Business Intelligence)

Project Manager (Business Intelligence): Managing the planning, coordination, and delivery of enhancements and reporting solutions for the Financial Business Intelligence System (FBIS) within the HHS Office of Finance with an accent on OBIEE reporting and data integration. Focus on overseeing hybrid SDLC workflows, maintaining PMO governance, and ensuring federal financial management compliance.

Location: Remote (US). U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust clearance are strictly required.

Salary: $130,000 (midpoint)

What you will do

• Lead project planning and execution for FBIS/OBIEE reporting initiatives, including dashboard development and system integration.
• Coordinate requirements gathering with stakeholders, financial analysts, and technical teams to ensure business needs are met.
• Manage Agile and hybrid SDLC workflows, including backlog prioritization and sprint planning.
• Maintain PMO governance artifacts, such as project schedules, risk/issue logs, and status reports.
• Oversee change control processes and support the modernization of legacy reporting platforms.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity and compliance teams to ensure environments adhere to RMF and ATO requirements.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship and ability to maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• 8+ years of experience managing IT or data/reporting projects, preferably in federal financial management.
• Experience with BI platforms such as OBIEE, OAS, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Strong understanding of federal financial reporting and data structures.
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, MS Project, and SharePoint.
• Ability to translate complex financial reporting needs into actionable technical requirements.

Nice to have

• Prior experience supporting HHS, ASFR/OF, PSC, or other federal financial systems.
• Familiarity with OBIEE RPD, ETL workflows, or data modeling concepts.
• Background in Agile delivery, DevOps practices, or reporting platform modernization.
