What you will do

• Plan and implement EHS policies in compliance with EPA and OSHA regulations.
• Conduct incident investigations for accidents, injuries, and unsafe workplace conditions.
• Coordinate environmental and industrial hygiene testing for storm water, sound, air quality, and personal exposure.
• Lead specialized safety topics including machine guarding, lockout/tagout, and hazardous materials transportation.
• Develop safety education, training, and employee involvement programs.
• Maintain administrative records such as SDS and OSHA reporting.

Requirements

• 2 years of direct environmental responsibility, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's Degree in Safety, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of safety/health programs and federal/state regulations.
• Flexibility in work schedule, including varying shifts, holidays, weekends, and emergency response.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• CSP certification.
• OSHA outreach trainer certification.
