Site Environmental, Health and Safety Compliance Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in Chatsworth, CA (Remote candidates will not be considered)

Salary: $125,000 – $155,000 Annually

What you will do

• Manage EHS programs and lead required regulatory compliance training for the site.
• Collect and analyze environmental and safety data to submit regulatory reports including biological, radiation, chemical, and noise data.
• Identify hazards across operations, analyze risks, and implement procedures to minimize them.
• Conduct root cause investigations and corrective action analysis for EHS incidents and near misses.
• Interface with regulatory agencies during inspections and manage associated corrective action plans.
• Support and lead emergency response activities as an on-call team member.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Chatsworth, CA.
• Ability to access U.S. export-controlled information.
• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, safety, chemical engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Proven experience in hazard identification, risk assessment, and writing EHS programs.

Nice to have

• Professional certifications in EHS (e.g., CHMM, CSP, ASP).
• Proficiency in training software like Articulate.
• Experience working directly on a manufacturing shop floor.
