What you will do

• Lead commercial contracting for enterprise software licenses, neocloud arrangements, and hardware appliance transactions.
• Own the full inbound NDA workflow and manage reseller and channel partner agreements globally.
• Develop and formalize legal templates, playbooks, and approval workflows to mature the company's legal operating model.
• Drive the implementation and rollout of the CLM platform in collaboration with Sales and RevOps.
• Provide cross-functional legal guidance on marketing, HR, IT security, privacy, and corporate governance.
• Advise on AI governance, GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and intellectual property compliance.

Requirements

• 6–10 years of legal experience, ideally within a lean startup or scale-up environment.
• JD from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing.
• Proven experience in commercial contract negotiation and in-house legal operations.
• Ability to manage external counsel efficiently across specialized matters.

Nice to have

• Experience with international operations, export controls, and cross-border transactions.
• Familiarity with open-source licensing and AI/ML-specific legal considerations.
• Prior experience in AI infrastructure or data storage industries.
• Hands-on experience optimizing CLM platforms.
