What you will do

• Advise on data processing agreements, standard contractual clauses, and AI-specific terms.
• Draft and maintain privacy notices, consent forms, and internal data protection policies.
• Conduct assessments on international data transfers and respond to privacy-related RFPs.
• Partner with technical and business teams to translate legal requirements into actionable steps.
• Collaborate with global legal and business groups across multiple time zones.
• Provide education and training on privacy and data protection standards.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer admitted to practice in a relevant jurisdiction.
• 5+ years of post-qualification experience in privacy or data protection law.
• Deep understanding of global standards including GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, COPPA, LGPD, PIPL, and the EU AI Act.
• Experience working in-house or at a law firm, ideally within a multinational technology company.
• Must be based in Ireland or able to work in a hybrid capacity from an Irish location.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complex legal concepts into plain English.
