Location: Hybrid (1 day in Bolton office, 4 days remote)

What you will do

• Manage a caseload of Small Claims Track cases, ensuring all court deadlines are met.
• Analyze evidence to create initial case strategies for liability and quantum.
• Conduct telephone negotiations with clients, defendants, and insurers to reach appropriate settlements.
• Draft court documents, witness statements, and professional correspondence.
• Liaise with and brief Counsel on case progress.
• Maintain accurate case management and billing records in compliance with ISO 9001 and SRA standards.

Requirements

• Established experience in law through further education or professional practice.
• Previous file handling experience within a law practice or insurer.
• Good understanding of the Highway Code and basic Road Traffic Act principles.
• Basic knowledge of the Court Practice Rules.
• Must be based in the UK and able to work from the Bolton office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
