What you will do
- Build and grow relationships with domestic Japanese advertising agencies, trading desks, and brand clients.
- Lead regular business reviews and QBRs with agency partners to identify growth opportunities.
- Create tailored proposals translating streaming technology for Japanese agency workflows.
- Oversee end-to-end campaign delivery, from creative briefing through execution and optimization.
- Analyze performance data and produce insights in Japanese to drive renewals and upsells.
- Coordinate with global product and ops teams to bridge local needs with global capabilities.
Requirements
- Native Japanese speaker
- 5–10 years of experience in digital advertising sales or account management.
- Proven track record of selling into domestic Japanese advertising agencies (holdcos and independents).
- Experience in campaign performance analysis and advertising effectiveness measurement.
- Strong understanding of Japanese business culture and agency decision-making dynamics.
Nice to have
- Working proficiency in English.
- Direct experience at agencies such as Dentsu, Hakuhodo, ADK, CyberAgent, or Tokyu Agency.
- Experience in programmatic, display, or video advertising sales.
- Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics and DMP/DSP dashboards.
