What you will do

  • Own and drive end-to-end sales activities, including pipeline development and client acquisition.
  • Lead consultative sales engagements to position data-driven solutions and research services.
  • Build and manage long-term client relationships to ensure repeat business and upsell opportunities.
  • Achieve and exceed annual revenue targets and sales KPIs.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, analytics, and operations teams to ensure project success.
  • Leverage the full NIQ portfolio to deliver value-driven insights to clients.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management.
  • Strong understanding of Japanese market dynamics and client expectations.
  • Native or near-native Japanese proficiency required.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and closing complex deals.
  • Ability to translate data and insights into business value propositions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in a client-facing environment.

Nice to have

  • Experience selling data, insights, research, or analytics solutions.
  • Existing network across FMCG or retail industries.
  • Experience working in global or matrix organizations.
  • Business-level English proficiency.
