TL;DR

Founding Account Executive (Fintech): Driving the go-to-market strategy and full-cycle sales for a new, stealth FinOps product line with an accent on building the initial customer base and defining the sales playbook. Focus on navigating complex technical sales, collaborating with engineering teams, and establishing market presence across North America.

Location: Must be based in the US East or US West, with 10-15% travel required.

What you will do

  • Own the full sales cycle from initial prospecting to contract execution and closing.
  • Define the go-to-market motion, including messaging, pricing, and objection handling for a new product.
  • Build the first wave of reference customers and case studies to define the category.
  • Develop regional strategies to identify high-growth opportunities across North America.
  • Collaborate with AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure partner managers to co-sell and expand market share.
  • Provide direct feedback to product and marketing teams based on customer signals.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the US East or US West.
  • 2+ years of quota-carrying B2B SaaS sales experience with a consistent track record of success.
  • Demonstrated experience running full sales cycles for cloud services (SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS).
  • Technical curiosity and ability to hold conversations regarding AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure architecture.
  • Genuine interest in FinOps and engineering cloud consumption models.
  • Ability to build influential relationships across matrixed organizations.
