What you will do

• Gather and refine requirements to design Epic builds that align with operational goals and policy.
• Configure records, master files, and tools while maintaining environment parity and change management standards.
• Develop and execute unit, integrated, and UAT test plans, resolving defects to ensure system stability.
• Manage system implementations and upgrades using Waterfall or Agile project management methodologies.
• Collaborate with interface teams on HL7, FHIR, and other exchange workflows for seamless integration.
• Oversee the design, maintenance, and governance of customized training programs and curricula.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in system analysis and support within a healthcare environment (or 10+ years in lieu of a degree).
• Experience with Epic applications and healthcare workflows (clinical, revenue cycle, or IT).
• Familiarity with ITIL, SDLC practices, system governance, and project methodologies.
• Must be based in the state of Ohio.

Nice to have

• Current Epic Certification or proficiency in modules such as HB, PB, Cadence, Referrals, Orders, or ClinDoc.
• Direct experience and certifications in Beacon and Research.
• Exposure to SQL, Clarity, Caboodle, SlicerDicer, or reporting tools like Radar.
• ITIL Foundation certification.
• Experience in large healthcare systems or hospital settings.
