What you will do

• Partner with the Chief Engineer to operationalize technical strategies and drive day-to-day execution across vehicle zones.
• Manage the zone's Bill of Materials (BOM) and lead cost-down initiatives to meet target margins.
• Collaborate with Global Supply Chain to align sourcing strategies with technical requirements and de-risk supplier timing.
• Drive the zone through Virtual Releases, Design Maturity (DM1-5), and Manufacturing Readiness.
• Oversee the planning, budgeting, and procurement of validation assets for component and vehicle-level testing.
• Translate business objectives into tangible product goals using benchmarking insights to drive innovation.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in automotive program management or engineering leadership.
• Proven track record of supporting large-scale vehicle programs through launch.
• Deep understanding of automotive cost structures, including piece price, tooling, and inbound logistics.
• Ability to drive technical decision-making and resolve complex trade-offs across multiple domains.
• High proficiency in Underbody/Tech or Upper Body/Func systems.
• Must be based in Southern California.
