NPI Project Manager, Supply Chain (EV)

Location: Garden Grove, California, United States; periodic travel to suppliers, service locations, or other operating locations is required.

Salary: $140,000–$180,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end supply chain planning for new product launches and platform ramps from early design through first-unit shipment and steady-state production.
• Develop and maintain master NPI and launch timing plans from sourcing through SOP, SORP, and ramp-up.
• Establish and improve NPI and supply chain program management methodologies, phase-gate processes, playbooks, roles, escalation paths, and standard work.
• Champion MRP and ISO implementation for the supply chain organization.
• Manage shortages, at-risk parts, expedites, alternate sourcing, and production continuity through supply disruptions.
• Coordinate Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supplier Development to manage BOM and ECO/PCO changes, schedules, risks, decisions, and progress.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in supply chain program management, project management, or operations, ideally in automotive, EV, aerospace, or related manufacturing.
• Experience supporting NPI programs from concept through production handoff and managing shortages and material readiness.
• Experience with ERP systems and supply chain reporting tools, including Oracle or advanced Excel.
• Strong cross-functional leadership, written and verbal communication, independent execution, and root-cause problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel periodically to suppliers, service locations, or other operating locations.

Nice to have

• Experience with vertically integrated manufacturing and external supplier coordination.
• Knowledge of automotive or commercial vehicle supply chain KPIs and quality or compliance frameworks.
• Familiarity with program management methodologies and experience improving program management processes in a scaling organization.
• Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
