TL;DR
Specialist, IT Systems & Projects (Automotive Manufacturing Systems): Defining, implementing, and governing enterprise systems that support production planning, scheduling, vehicle sequencing, manufacturing execution, reporting, and outbound logistics with an accent on system integration, process control, and KPI-driven optimization. Focus on coordinating cross-functional production steering projects, documenting requirements, solving process deviations, and supporting greenfield manufacturing launches.

Location: Blythewood, South Carolina, United States; 4–5 days per week in the office with regular in-person meetings and occasional travel.

Salary: $95,000–$120,000 annual base salary, plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus.

hirify.global is developing electrified pickup trucks and rugged SUVs while building a new automotive company and manufacturing operation.

What you will do

  • Act as the liaison between Production Steering, Logistics, IT, and business stakeholders.
  • Define and deliver process requirements, enterprise systems, interfaces, and training for production planning, scheduling, sequencing, and vehicle logistics.
  • Monitor operational processes and systems, identify deviations, and coordinate corrective actions.
  • Plan and implement KPIs, dashboards, and operational reporting with clear ownership and problem-solving workflows.
  • Support internal and external resources in planning, executing, and optimizing production steering requirements.
  • Lead and coordinate projects to document, report, and deliver end-to-end requirements, including launch activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Analytics, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may substitute.
  • 4+ years of experience with enterprise system implementations, integrations, testing, deployment, and user support.
  • Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, sequencing, capacity management, and manufacturing operations.
  • Experience documenting business requirements, process flows, standard operating procedures, and user acceptance testing.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Power BI, Power Automate, and PowerPoint, along with strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience with ERP, APS, MES, SAP, logistics systems, production control platforms, automotive quality standards, and project management methodologies.

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting launches in a start-up or greenfield manufacturing environment.
