Focus on optimizing engineering velocity, championing agentic coding workflows, and aligning technical execution with clinician needs.

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco

hirify.global builds AI-native tools, starting with an AI scribe, to reduce clinician burnout and modernize medical documentation.

What you will do

  • Lead and scale the engineering organization, managing EMs, tech leads, and senior ICs.
  • Drive engineering velocity, execution quality, and organizational performance across product pods.
  • Champion AI-native workflows, including agentic coding and AI-assisted reviews.
  • Partner with CEO, CTO, and Product leaders on technical direction and company strategy.
  • Establish pragmatic systems for planning, design reviews, and incident response.
  • Align engineering efforts with clinician needs and market learning.

Requirements

  • Experience leading high-performing engineering teams in fast-moving startup or high-growth environments.
  • Strong technical judgment across product architecture, backend, frontend, and infrastructure.
  • Must be based in or able to work hybrid in San Francisco.
  • Fluency with modern AI development workflows and ability to prototype or inspect code with AI assistance.
  • Track record of developing engineering managers and technical leaders.
  • Strong product and business judgment to contribute to roadmap and GTM strategy.

Nice to have

  • Experience building AI-native organizations or internal AI developer workflows.
  • Background in healthcare, regulated software, security, or compliance.
  • Experience scaling teams through multiple growth stages.
  • Previous IC experience in product or infrastructure engineering.
