What you will do

• Monitor and maintain statutory privacy registrations and filings across APAC countries, including Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Vietnam, and China.
• Prepare and record Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA) for new projects and recommend risk mitigation measures.
• Manage global data protection awareness programs and training sessions for associates.
• Review data processing agreements (DPA) with vendors and clients to ensure organizational compliance.
• Handle data subject access requests (DSARs) within required legal timelines.
• Support the implementation of internal AI governance frameworks and monitor updates to AI-related laws and guidance.

Requirements

• University degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a relevant field.
• IAPP certification.
• Relevant experience in compliance, governance, risk, or regulatory roles.
• Strong interest in data privacy and data protection laws.
• English: Strong language skills required.
• Experience working within a regional or multinational environment.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of personal data protection laws and familiarity with privacy frameworks or information security principles.
• Proficiency in Vietnamese or other Asian languages.
