TL;DR

What you will do

  • Plan and direct pre-sales systems and applications engineering activities to optimize sales volume.
  • Lead the transformation of channel resellers into autonomous, high-velocity extensions of the enterprise sales force.
  • Provide technical expertise and coordination for product/service design and implementation.
  • Manage and scale pre-sales or partner enablement organizations, overseeing a span of control of 3-10 people.
  • Identify organizational blockers and present strategic solutions to executive leadership at the GVP/EVP level.
  • Govern deal qualification and manage sandbox environments to protect pre-sales boundaries against scope creep.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of technical pre-sales, systems engineering, or solutions architecture experience in enterprise SaaS, CCaaS, or UCaaS.
  • 3 to 5+ years of direct people management experience scaling pre-sales organizations.
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship.
  • Deep domain expertise in Customer Experience (CX), Contact Center platforms, Workforce Management (WFM), and AI-driven data environments.
  • Strong understanding of modern cloud architectures, API-driven integrations, and Generative AI frameworks.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.

Nice to have

  • Prior experience leading channel pre-sales through platform modernization or portfolio repositioning.
  • Former experience working for a Supplier Channel Partner (e.g., C1, Trace3, NWN, Waterfield).
  • Competitive knowledge of rival CX and AI programs such as Genesys Cloud, NICE CXone, or Five9.
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA).
