Upgrades Sales Support Specialist

Location: Heerenveen, Netherlands; preferably based in Heerenveen. The position requires travel up to 20% of the time, and no relocation service is provided.

What you will do

• Manage upgrade inquiries from understanding customer needs through solution sales in cooperation with market organisations.
• Provide technical and commercial support for Cheese, Evaporation & Drying, and Powder Handling upgrades.
• Build relationships with market organisations, support their capabilities, and act as the contact point for upgrades business in assigned markets.
• Visit key customers with Services Account Managers and provide cheese processing expertise.
• Support the introduction and implementation of the Cheese Upgrade portfolio.
• Execute small upgrade projects as a project manager, gather market intelligence, and propose new upgrade products.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, automation, or dairy processing engineering, or similar education and/or experience.
• Several years of relevant food industry experience, preferably in dairy.
• Customer relationship management skills and knowledge of food processing equipment.
• Strong verbal, written, and computer communication skills.
• Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
• Ability to work effectively under time and financial pressure while prioritizing tasks and taking ownership of results.

Nice to have

• Sales experience in the technology industry.
• Experience with hirify.global Cheese equipment.
• Fluency in written and spoken Dutch is strongly preferred.
