What you will do

• Consult with leaders on performance concerns and corrective action planning.
• Guide managers through progressive discipline practices, including coaching plans and PIPs.
• Plan and conduct end-to-end workplace investigations for harassment, discrimination, and policy violations.
• Advise on separation decisions and coordinate termination logistics with Legal and Payroll.
• Develop ER guidance, toolkits, and deliver training on core employee relations topics.
• Track ER metrics and identify recurring patterns to recommend systemic improvements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive employee relations experience, preferably in multi-site environments.
• Demonstrated expertise in conducting and documenting workplace investigations.
• Strong working knowledge of US employment law.
• Proven ability to coach managers and influence decisions with a solutions-oriented approach.
• Exceptional written documentation skills for case notes and summaries.
• Ability to travel occasionally for partner-firm visits.

Nice to have

• Experience in professional services, accounting, or PE-backed multi-entity environments.
• SHRM-CP/SCP or HRCI (PHR/SPHR) credentials.
• Experience with HRIS/case management systems and ER reporting dashboards.
• Experience supporting M&A integration and harmonizing practices across acquired firms.
