What you will do

  • Oversee daily HR operations and benefits administration for North American employees.
  • Coordinate visas for new hires and international business travel.
  • Ensure legal compliance with US employment laws and maintain employee handbooks.
  • Manage the full onboarding process, including contractual elements and HR system updates.
  • Process regional payroll and lead initiatives for process optimization and automation.
  • Implement people-related projects and best practices to scale the company's presence in new countries.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 8-15 years of progressive HR experience, ideally within a startup or high-growth environment.
  • Strong knowledge of US employment law, HR policies, and regulations.
  • Experience managing the entire employee lifecycle from onboarding to exit.
  • Deep understanding of local, national, and international payroll regulations and tax laws.
  • Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Palo Alto or San Francisco.
