What you will do

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of embedded control systems for unique defense applications.
• Mentor engineering team members and drive best practices in software architecture.
• Collaborate with systems integration engineers to implement control algorithms for propulsion and chassis systems.
• Resolve complex technical issues in a fast-paced, start-up-style environment.
• Lead software verification, feature validation, and electrical design peer reviews.
• Present algorithm design choices and technical updates to leadership and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• BS in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in C programming, Matlab, and Simulink algorithm development.
• Must be a U.S. Person or eligible for export control authorization.
• Must be able to work on-site in Milford, MI at least 3 times per week.
• Experience with Agile CI/CD workflows, Git, Jenkins, and automated build environments.
• Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle and pass a Motor Vehicle Report review.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in an Engineering discipline.
• Familiarity with GM’s VIP electrical architecture.
• GM Level 2 Driving Certification.
• GM DFSS Black Belt Certification.
