What you will do

• Lead the development of embedded controls software for new suspension systems using Lean Agile principles.
• Architect, design, and maintain production C software for controls and diagnostics following MISRA guidelines.
• Partner with Algorithm, Calibration, and Architecture teams to define requirements and functional architectures.
• Develop software design artifacts (SDDs, SIRs) and ensure traceability from requirements to tests.
• Own the unit and integration testing strategy, supporting BDD and TDD workflows.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead troubleshooting and defect resolution for vehicle performance.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.
• BS in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Minimum 5+ years of engineering experience in embedded development.
• Strong proficiency in C programming and embedded development workflows.
• Experience with C++, Python, and unit testing for embedded systems.
• Knowledge of Jira, GIT, and plant modeling tools.

Nice to have

• Experience in Vehicle Dynamics (Suspension, Steering, or Braking).
• MS in Engineering with a focus on software or computer science.
• Proficiency with Simulink, MATLAB, and DOORS.
• Familiarity with automotive diagnostics (INCA/ETAS), OBD-II, and ASIL standards.
• DFSS Black Belt Certification.
