What you will do
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth and meet annual targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the biopharma value chain to expand the customer base.
- Lead high-impact presentations to stakeholders ranging from R&D IT and Scientists to CDOs and Digital Transformation Executives.
- Build, manage, and coach a high-performance team of Account Executives to ensure individual and team success.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (Legal, Engineering, Marketing, Product) to navigate complex sales cycles.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure high satisfaction and retention.
Requirements
- Must be based in the United States.
- 10+ years of experience selling to the life sciences R&D software and data market.
- 3-5 years of experience in a sales management role (e.g., Regional or District Manager).
- Proven track record of closing large, complex enterprise deals ($ millions to tens of millions in ARR).
- Experience working in startup environments and selling to the Top 100 Pharma cohort.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and scale high-performing sales teams while remaining hands-on with deals.
