Renewal Specialist (SaaS): Managing end-to-end contract renewals for Premier and Strategic accounts with an accent on retention and customer engagement. Focus on optimizing the renewal pipeline, identifying upsell opportunities, and maintaining high retention rates.

Location: Hybrid - 3 days per week in office in Tokyo, Japan

What you will do

  • Manage the end-to-end renewal process for a high volume of assigned customer accounts.
  • Proactively engage customers 90–120 days before expiration to secure contract terms.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for renewal discussions and communicate the ongoing value of solutions.
  • Identify at-risk accounts and collaborate with Customer Success and Sales teams to prevent churn.
  • Spot upsell and cross-sell opportunities and route them to Account Executives.
  • Maintain detailed records of renewal activities, rates, and churn risks within Salesforce.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in customer-facing or sales-related roles, specifically in SaaS or subscription-based models.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, with a preference for Salesforce.
  • Must be based in Tokyo, Japan to support a hybrid work schedule (3 days/week in office).
  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • Strong motivation to build a career in technology sales and ability to thrive in transactional environments.
