TL;DR
Director, Alliance and Channel (SaaS): Growing and enabling the partner ecosystem in Japan to drive software subscription targets with an accent on joint GTM strategies and revenue generation. Focus on building high-impact partnerships with Global SIs and Consulting firms to accelerate market expansion.
Location: Hybrid (Tokyo, Japan) - Must be in the office 3 times a week

What you will do
- Achieve software subscription targets by sourcing and influencing new business opportunities via the partner ecosystem.
- Develop and manage a multi-tier Japanese partner ecosystem closely aligned with the local sales strategy.
- Activate new partners on the value proposition and assist them in monetizing the digital adoption opportunity.
- Drive joint annual and quarterly business planning with focus partners, including investment and ROI measurement.
- Guide partners to build capacity, competency, and capability aligned with best practices.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales and technical teams to support partner growth.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience working with large Global SI, Consulting, or Advisory partners on joint GTM strategies.
- Proven track record of building partner ecosystems from early stages to generate net new revenue.
- Ability to create solution scenarios and proposals for partners and end customers.
- Experience negotiating partner contracts and agreements.
- Knowledge of leading SaaS solutions such as Salesforce, SuccessFactors, Ariba, Concur, or ServiceNow.
- Fluency in Japanese and business-level English.
Nice to have
- Strong network with Accenture, PwC, Deloitte, IBM, or EY.
- 5+ years of experience selling SaaS solutions at Global SIs.
- Experience managing Japanese SI alliances and partnerships.
