TL;DR

Location: Must be based in or near Oakland, CA, United States (Home-office based with travel requirements).

Salary: $90,000 – $143,000 USD

What you will do

  • Drive sales of products, software, and services across all commercial classes of trade.
  • Conduct sales meetings and product knowledge training for customers and distribution partners.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and end-user attitudes to provide actionable insights to management.
  • Document all sales activities, forecasts, and customer interactions in CRM software.
  • Identify and penetrate end-user facilities to sell the complete product line.
  • Attend national and regional conventions and trade shows to support business development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of field sales experience.
  • Proven track record of success in commercial or industrial sales.
  • Ability to travel as required for the role.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and comfort with technology.

Nice to have

  • Experience in security, safety lockout (LOTO), and electrical arc flash safety sales.
  • Qualified Safety Sales Professional (QSSP) certification.
