What you will do

• Engage directly with customers onsite in the Boston region 4-5 days per week to drive scientific AI adoption.
• Investigate customer datasets to identify enrichment and AI-readiness opportunities.
• Collaborate with customers to define, iterate, and implement innovative scientific AI/ML use cases.
• Conduct onsite interviews and workshops to understand customer challenges and data landscapes.
• Perform exploratory data analysis and define transformation workflows for scientific AI.
• Develop visual documentation including workflow diagrams, ERDs, and ontology definitions.

Requirements

• PhD with 15+ years of industry experience in life sciences (pharma, biotech, or health tech).
• Deep domain expertise in discovery, preclinical, CMC, or Quality.
• Proven experience delivering requirements for AI/ML-driven solutions in operational environments.
• Strong background in scientific data workflows, lab automation, and modern data architecture.
• Must be able to work onsite in the Boston region 4-5 days per week.
• Exceptional communication and storytelling ability for technical and executive stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Strong coding or scripting background (Python, Nextflow, AWS, SDKs).
• Familiarity with scientific tools, databases, and ontologies.
• Exposure to FAIR principles.
