Chief of Staff to the CEO (Scientific Data and AI)

Location: Boston, Massachusetts, United States; Cambridge, United States. On-site.

Salary: $185,000–$250,000 per year

What you will do

• Coordinate the CEO’s engagement with biopharmaceutical companies, technology partners, government agencies, and consortia.
• Prepare briefing materials, talking points, meeting summaries, and follow-up plans for high-stakes interactions.
• Convert discussions and correspondence into action plans with owners, deadlines, and success measures.
• Track strategic accounts, alliances, and public-sector initiatives while surfacing risks and opportunities.
• Develop narratives and materials on Scientific AI, industrialized scientific data, and sovereign scientific AI.
• Maintain the CEO’s operating cadence, protect executive attention, and streamline information flow.

Requirements

• Advanced training in a life sciences discipline: MS or PhD required.
• Meaningful exposure to business, strategy, or policy through consulting, banking, corporate development, venture capital, or senior operating roles.
• Ability to engage credibly with R&D leaders, business executives, and public-sector stakeholders across science, economics, and regulation.
• Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder workstreams in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including concise recaps, polished decks, and executive-level memos.
• Ability to maintain a flexible schedule, respond quickly to emerging priorities, and travel as needed.
