Tax Manager (SALT)

What you will do

• Lead and manage income apportionment, income allocation, and multi-state apportionment projects.
• Conduct nexus studies to identify filing responsibilities and oversee sales and use tax matters.
• Guide clients on sourcing methods and interpret Public Law 86-272 impact on state filings.
• Oversee voluntary disclosure agreements, closing agreements, and compromise negotiations.
• Develop tax strategies for transaction structuring, business purchase/sale, and due diligence.
• Supervise and mentor a team of professionals and manage client relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, or a related field (Masters preferred).
• CPA certification strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in a CPA firm or SALT specialization.
• Proven experience in a managerial leadership role.
• Proficiency in tax research tools and software such as CCH, UltraTax CS, or QuickBooks.
• Availability to work on US East Coast time (EST).
