What you will do

• Lead and manage the review of federal and state tax filings for partnerships, S corporations, high-net-worth individuals, and trusts.
• Oversee the conversion of client trial balances into tax workpapers and ensure proper Schedule M adjustments.
• Conduct in-depth tax research and analysis on complex federal, state, local, and international reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with partners and clients on proactive tax planning strategies and entity structuring.
• Mentor and develop junior and mid-level staff through technical training and performance coaching.
• Support business development by building client relationships and identifying new service opportunities.

Requirements

• CPA designation required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 7+ years of public accounting experience with prior management of staff and engagements.
• Strong technical knowledge in flow-through entity and individual taxation.
• Proficiency in tax research tools (e.g., RIA Checkpoint, CCH, BNA) and tax software (e.g., UltraTax, ProSystem fx).
• Must be based in the US (Hybrid Somerset, NJ).
