What you will do

• Manage all phases of tax planning, preparation, review, compliance, and research.
• Prepare various tax returns, including Individual, Fiduciary, Corporate, Partnership, and Multistate.
• Implement strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize financial efficiency.
• Coordinate complex accounting projects and initiatives with the accounting team.
• Supervise staff accountants, providing feedback and evaluating their progress.
• Identify and recognize opportunities to provide additional services to existing clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting (Required).
• CPA certification (Required).
• At least 7+ years of experience in a CPA firm (Required).
• Must be able to reliably commute or relocate to Woodbury, NY.
• Proficiency in UltraTax CS, Microsoft Office Suite, and Intuit products.
• Background in Real Estate (Preferred).
