What you will do

• Prepare and review federal and multistate business tax returns (1120, 1120S, 1065).
• Create detailed quarterly and year-end tax projections including book-to-tax adjustments.
• Prepare individual returns and shareholder/partner projections.
• Analyze client financials and communicate directly regarding tax planning and compliance.
• Lead and mentor junior staff members to support their professional development.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of tax-focused public accounting experience.
• Expertise in federal and multistate tax compliance.
• Strong individual tax experience is a must.
• Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize effectively in a remote environment.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Taxation.
• Active CPA license.
