Salary: $150K – $175K annually

What you will do

• Prepare and review a wide variety of tax returns, including high-wealth individuals, fiduciary, corporate, partnerships, and multistate filings.
• Manage all phases of tax services, including planning, compliance, preparation, review, and research.
• Identify tax risk management issues and propose practical solutions in collaboration with engagement Partners.
• Oversee and coordinate day-to-day engagement workflow, from planning and execution to wrap-up.
• Supervise, train, and mentor tax staff to foster professional development and collaboration.
• Serve as the primary client interface to build and maintain strong professional relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• CPA license (Required)
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a public accounting / CPA firm (Required)
• Ability to reliably commute or relocate to the New York City office (Required)
• Proficiency in tax research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice to have

• Experience using CCH Axcess Tax.
