What you will do

• Design magnetic components including transformers, chokes, and current transformers to meet specifications for power, size, cost, and efficiency.
• Support manufacturing facilities in developing fabrication and testing techniques for magnetic components.
• Verify prototype components through testing to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Perform root cause analysis on magnetic component failures and implement corrective actions.
• Evaluate and recommend new materials and manufacturing technologies for adoption.
• Provide technical leadership and design assistance to global engineering teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with a power/magnetics emphasis.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in magnetic component design.
• In-depth knowledge of theory and practice in transformer and inductor design.
• Proficiency with simulation and analysis tools such as OSP, Ansoft, or similar.
• Familiarity with FMEA and thorough knowledge of UL agency compliance requirements.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
