What you will do

• Act as the technical authority for power electronics and analog board design across multiple programs.
• Lead architecture trades and define design approaches for power distribution, DC/DC conversion, and analog front ends.
• Design and simulate schematics for power electronics and analog circuits.
• Guide PCB layout strategies for low-noise design, high-current paths, and thermal management.
• Lead design margin evaluations, tolerance analysis, and failure analysis for mission-critical hardware.
• Oversee hardware integration, qualification testing, and production transition.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 15+ years of relevant experience.
• Expertise in power electronics (DC/DC conversion, regulation, thermal management) and analog circuit fundamentals.
• Deep knowledge of EMI/EMC mitigation and layout practices for mixed-signal environments.
• Experience leading verification and qualification of high-reliability hardware for aerospace or defense.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with Avionics platforms and 28 VDC / 270 VDC aerospace applications.
• Familiarity with aerospace standards such as RTCA/DO-160, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-810, and MIL-STD-1275.
• Experience establishing design standards and review processes for engineering teams.
