Planning & Support Team Manager (Motor Engineering): Leading the Field Motor Engineering Planning & Support team to ensure high-quality claims and engineering activity delivery with an accent on team performance and operational excellence. Focus on managing KPIs/SLAs, route planning, and handling complex claims escalations.

What you will do

  • Lead, coach, and motivate a high-performing team through regular 1:1s and development planning.
  • Deliver and maintain KPI and SLA performance targets while overseeing route planning and inspection scheduling.
  • Handle complex claims and high-level escalations from customers, insurers, and repairers.
  • Analyze Management Information (MI) and reports to identify trends and drive process optimization.
  • Lead business change initiatives and ensure compliance with Health & Safety and company policies.
  • Collaborate with account management teams to build and maintain strong client relationships.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a Team Manager or leadership role.
  • Professional background in motor engineering, claims, or insurance operations.
  • Strong understanding of Audatex or similar estimating systems.
  • Experience working in a commercial, KPI-driven environment.
  • Must be based in the United Kingdom.
