Mortgage Advisor II

Location: Tempe, AZ (role must reside in AZ; working in office five days per week)

What you will do

• Evaluate and analyze applicants’ financial status, credit, and property details to determine mortgage eligibility
• Advise and educate clients on mortgage products and the application process
• Assist clients with mortgage applications, including collecting information needed for approval
• Operate within the mortgage sales environment using the Loan Origination System, CRM, credit vendor systems, and other required tools
• Communicate with prospects, loan applicants, and third-party vendors with continual follow-up throughout the mortgage process
• Qualify for several state mortgage licenses within the first 45 days

Requirements

• AZ residency required (role must reside in AZ)
• Active NMLS (or able to be reactivated)
• Passed the SAFE exam
• 3+ years of mortgage lending experience
• Eligible to complete state and federal MLO licensing requirements, including pre-license education, state/federal testing, and federal background checks
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a changing, entrepreneurial environment
