TL;DR

Account Executive (Fintech/TravelTech): Managing the full sales cycle for group and multi-day travel businesses with an accent on outbound prospecting and product demonstrations. Focus on scaling the US market, building relationships with SMB tour operators, and driving platform adoption.

Location: Remote (Canada). Must have full legal authorization to work in country of residence; no visa sponsorship or relocation assistance provided.

Salary: Base $52,000 USD + uncapped commission (OTE Year 1: $100,000, Year 2: $130,000).

What you will do

  • Own the full sales cycle from initial outreach and discovery to closing and handoff to onboarding.
  • Prospect and build relationships with multi-day tour operators across the US.
  • Deliver engaging product demos that showcase the platform's value proposition.
  • Manage the sales pipeline and track all activity within HubSpot CRM.
  • Collaborate with onboarding and support teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Provide client-driven feedback to product and marketing teams to improve the offering.

Requirements

  • Fluency in English.
  • Experience in inside sales conducted via emails and calls.
  • Natural confidence in high-volume outbound sales and cold calling.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% for client visits.
  • Full legal authorization to work in country of residence (citizenship or permanent residency).

Nice to have

  • B2B sales experience, particularly selling to SMBs.
  • Proficiency with HubSpot CRM or similar tools.
  • Existing network or experience within the travel industry.
  • Proficiency in additional languages.
