Salary: 31,917 - 40,583 PLN gross per month

What you will do

• Optimize the retrieval system's latency and cost to make AI features faster and more efficient.
• Improve the quality and relevance of search results.
• Expand system capabilities to query new hirify.global objects and third-party data sources.
• Build and optimize search infrastructure utilizing OpenSearch and ElasticSearch.
• Develop ML-powered features such as embeddings-based retrieval and semantic search.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners in New York City and peers in Warsaw.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience writing code in a production environment.
• Hands-on experience in search engineering with OpenSearch or ElasticSearch.
• Experience with embeddings and machine learning approaches to search and retrieval.
• Must be based in Warsaw, Poland to adhere to the office-centric hybrid schedule.

Nice to have

• Experience in an Applied AI role.
