Senior Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Bellevue, United States; on-site

Base salary: $180K–$235K annually

What you will do

• Architect and develop foundational design kits, component libraries, and frameworks for consistent user experiences across the product ecosystem.
• Collaborate with Product and Design to define building blocks, guidelines, and engineering best practices.
• Advocate for and educate engineering teams on design system, usability, and UI/UX practices.
• Create high-fidelity interactive prototypes informed by user research and data, and define next-generation interfaces for automation experiences.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, improve engineering quality and velocity, and integrate practices such as CI/CD, DevOps, and Coding Agents.
• Mentor junior engineers and help attract and hire engineering talent.

Requirements

• 6+ years of fullstack software development experience with strong engineering fundamentals.
• Expertise in one or more modern frontend frameworks, such as React.
• Expertise in one or more of C#, Rust, Java, or Go.
• Experience with Agile development, CI/CD, DevOps, and Coding Agents.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture, API development, distributed systems, and distributed telemetry patterns.
• Deep understanding of multithreading, synchronization, asynchronous programming, and cloud computing.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and system design.
• Experience with AI/ML development and AI coding tools.
• Exposure to Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud, including services such as AKS or GKE.
• Expertise in modern UI/UX patterns and best practices.
