Senior Software Engineer (Applied AI)

Location: Remote Poland

Base salary: 245,000–320,000 PLN annually; performance-based bonus and equity options may also be available.

What you will do

• Design, build, and own AI agents and LLM-powered software products from architecture through production.
• Lead the technical design of agentic systems and workflows using LLMs and machine learning models.
• Integrate agents with hirify.global data and configuration systems and with internal and external systems through APIs and MCP.
• Implement prompt-injection defenses, PII controls, output validation, security and compliance measures, and human-in-the-loop gates.
• Partner with Product Managers and Engineers to identify customer opportunities for AI technologies.
• Drive AI expertise, review designs, and establish standards for building LLM systems and using AI development tools.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience with Python and Java.
• Proven experience shipping LLM-powered features to production at scale.
• Strong knowledge of modern software engineering principles, patterns, and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with RAG workflows, including chunking, embeddings, and retrieval from relational and vector databases.
• Experience deploying software on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
• Desire to learn new technologies, products, and business areas.
• Domain expertise in martech, marketing analytics, or customer data platforms.
• Understanding of traditional statistical machine learning models and libraries.
• Experience building data, analytics, or machine learning pipelines on Spark, Databricks, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
